There is quite a lot of buzz online these days about personal and business blogs. From a business perspective, they can really help position you as a specialist in your field and allow others to interact with you online. This reinforces your capabilities of building relationships online and is a wonderful way to grow awareness for your organization. Blogs are often easier to maintain than a website which makes it interesting for those who are budget sensitive. Blogs are also easy to use for the person hosting but also for those who wish to post messages and ask questions.

Blogs have been found to influence buyers in 61% of cases. In an Ipsos
Reid study, 66% of respondents said they would not buy a product if the company had negative comments written about them in Blogs. By the same token, with positive blog reviews, people said they would be more likely to purchase the item or service.

Since we practice what we preach at Phil, we too will be starting a blog and will be posting tips and information about design, communications, the world of philanthropy and community related events.

Check back soon for the launch of our blog...
